CIMG

The Centre d’Imagerie Médicale du Galilée (CIMG) and the Résonance Imagerie Group announce their merger to form a leading player in medical imaging in Seine-et-Marne. CIMG is a major player in radiology in the Seine-et-Marne region with 8 centers operating 12 heavy equipment units (MRIs and scanners), supported by a team of 17 associated radiologists and 110 employees. The CIMG has a historically excellent reputation and standing in the radiology sector for over 30 years. Its founders are also particularly well connected to their colleagues and professional authorities.

Résonance Imagerie Group (backed by Andera Partners) is distinguished by an approach centered on the medical project with a philosophy of rapprochement "by doctors, for doctors" proposed to the teams that join the group. The group is actually owned by its associated doctors.

The transaction

This merger will enable the two groups to strengthen their presence in Seine-et-Marne and to establish the new group in a long-term development dynamic in this region. The doctors of CIMG will join their colleagues within the Société d'Exercice Libéral Résonance Imagerie, while retaining a high degree of local autonomy both in medical matters and in the operational management of the centers.

The managing radiologists of CIMG declare: "We are happy to join Résonance Imagerie, which was able to convince us thanks to a resolutely medical orientation of their approach. Moreover, their willingness to delegate the management of the centers to us locally will enable us to pursue the continuity of our medical project with the teams and health professionals in the area, which will be a proof of success for this merger”.

Résonance Imagerie’s managing radiologists added : "We are delighted to join forces with the teams at the CIMG, which have a historically excellent reputation in Seine-et-Marne. We are enthusiastic about the idea of continuing to develop these centers in the region alongside the founders and their teams, with the common desire to place the quality of patient care at the center of the medical project”.

Victoria Advisory's role in the transaction

Victoria advised CIMG's management team and shareholders throughout the transaction, from the definition of the transaction's objectives to its final closing.
